Construction of biggest super specialty hospital in Mideast starts

Minister of Health and Medical Education Hassan Hashemi attended the today event. 

The 800-bed hospital will be constructed in a land of 45,000 square meter, IRNA reported.

According to the planning, the project will be carried out within a year.

According to head of the Cancer Research Center of Tehran's Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, 500,000 people in the country are suffering from cancer and 90,000 patients join them annually.

Mohammad-Esmaeil Akbari said the Middle East's biggest super specialty hospital will provide all services for the cancer patients.
