Iran to hold 2ndInt’l Stem Cells &Regenerative Medicine Congress

“This congress is aimed to bring together national and international researchers to present recent progress in the field of stem cells, tissue engineering, and regenerative medicine,” Scientific Chair of MashhadStemCells-2017, Dr.Maryam MoghaddamMatin said in an exclusive interview.

The congress is hosted by Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, ACCER, Royan institute and Mashhad University of Medical Sciences (MUM), according to ISNA.

“Eight renowned keynote speakers from around the world, including Dr. Adrian Philip Gee will share their findings over the course of the conference. Scientists at all levels and in every field will give oral presentations, hold poster sessions, or submit questions on a variety of subjects” Faculty member of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad said.

"we have invited well-known scientists from many countries such asTexas, Germany, Italy, USA, China and Turkey” She added “six workshops will also be held on the sidelines of the congress on this subject”

According to MoghaddamMatin“we want to create an atmosphere of cooperation and scientific thinking among researchers and scholars active in the field of Stem Cells and establish a platform for offering the latest scientific research results, in various fields of Stem Cells in Iran and abroad.”

She continued that the congress will cover a wide range of topics including Gene Therapy and Stem cells, Stem Cells and Cancer, Innovative MSC Therapies, Gene Networks and Epigenetics, Clinical Translation and Regenerative Medicine and etc.

“Iran has made considerable advances in science and technology through education and training, in many aspects of Stem Cells during the past two decades,” she noted.

This congress will hold at Faculty of science conference center of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad.
