Human chain formed in Isfahan for reviving Govkhuni wetland
EghtesadOnline: On the occasion of World Wetlands Day on Saturday, environment lovers and activists gathered besides Govkhuni International Wetland in Isfahan and by forming human chain called for reviving the wetland.
The plan was sponsored by the Women Association for Fight against Environmental Pollution of Isfahan and Association of Natural and Cultural Heritage Lovers of Varzaneh.
In the ceremony a group of artists by their performances declared their support for the wetland, according to IRNA.
The wetland extends on an area of 476 square kilometers and is located 140 kilometers southeast of Isfahan.
