Larijani hails Iran’s championship in AFC Beach Soccer champs
EghtesadOnline: Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani, in a congratulatory message on Saturday, hailed Iran’s championship in AFC Beach Soccer championships in Terengganu, Malaysia.
In the final match of the tournament which also served as 2017 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup qualifiers, Iran overpowered UAE 7-2 to win the first title, according to IRNA.
UAE and Japan ranked second and third, respectively.
In his message, Larijani said that the Iranian national team caused happiness for the Iranian nation. He wished that the Iranian youngsters will shine in all areas.
2017 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup will be held from April 27 to May 7 in Nassau, Bahamas.
