EghtesadOnline: The average annual income of Iranian households in urban areas stood at 278.87 million rials (about $7,411 at current exchange rate) and their expenses at 264.4 million rials ($6,973) in the fiscal March 2015-16, registering a 15.6% and 11.7% growth respectively compared with the preceding year, IRNA reported in Wednesday, citing the Statistical Center of Iran.
For rural areas, the average annual income and expenses stood at 161 million rials ($4,279.5) and 147 million rials ($3,906), indicating a 9.7% and 6.1% growth respectively for the same period under review, Financial Tribune reported.
