Citroën re-enters Iran after 39 years

EghtesadOnline: After 39 years of absence, Citroën Company re-entered Iran and officially started its activities in the country.

Jean Christophe Quémard, Executive Vice-President of Middle East and Africa at Peugeot S.A. along with senior director of Citroën Company met with CEO and other executives of SAIPA Group and discussed continuation of cooperation.

Following the meeting, Kashan SAIPA Company’s board changed to SAIPA Citroën Company and the French multinational manufacturer of automobiles and motorcycles officially started its work in Iran after 39 years, ISNA reported.

During the meeting, the two sides agreed to accelerate the cooperation to launch joint automotive production line and start to manufacture productions in Kashan SAIPA.
