Kish Exports Rise, Imports Fall
EghtesadOnline: More than 1,100 tons of non-oil goods were exported from the port of Kish Island in southern Hormozgan Province during the first three months of the current Iranian year (March 21-June 21), registering a 34% rise over the corresponding period of a year before, according Kish Ports and Maritime Organization.
Imports into the port stood at 10,000 tons during the same period, down 17% year-on-year, the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development’s news portal reported. Some 450,000 tons of goods, including oil and non-oil products, were loaded and unloaded in Kish during the period, according to Financial Tribune.
