Mouteh Gold Mine Output Up 48%
EghtesadOnline: Mouteh Gold Mine produced 136 kilograms of gold ingots during the first four months of the current fiscal year (March 21-July 22), registering a 48% growth compared with last year’s corresponding period, Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization reported.
Thirty-six kilograms were produced in the fourth month, showing a 44% rise year-on-year. Iran’s first exploited deposit of the precious mineral, Mouteh Gold Mine, is located in Meymeh County in Isfahan Province and operates with an annual output capacity of 300,000 kilograms, Financial Tribune reported.
