Melancholy is a 2016 Iranian drama film directed, produced and co-written by Morteza Atashzamzam, IRNA reported.

Leila Otadi, Mohammad Reza Hedayati and Laleh Eskandari are the major actors in the feature.

Iranian Cultural Attaché in Bulgaria Mohammad Ali Kiani said that the Iranian cinema possesses the needed elements to be placed among the masters of the film industry.

Kiani added that the Iranian cinema has done a great job in spreading notions such as avoiding violence, appreciating the family and women and avoiding instrumental use of women.
More than 100 films will be shown in this year's festival 'Love is Madness', which for another year will turn Varna into a glamorous cinema capital.

The XXV International Film Festival was named after the first long movie ever made in Bulgaria which was made 100 years ago.

Varna is the third largest city in Bulgaria and a major port on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast.
