Iran makes device for producing water from air humidity
EghtesadOnline: Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) made a device for producing water from air humidity.
According to the AEOI website, the device uses thermoelectric chilling procedure, a method to chill air humidity in order to reach the dew point in which water in the air is distilled.
The device is going through experimental phase with the capacity to produce up to 2 liters of water daily depending on the conditions of air humidity; but it is supposed to be produced at industrial scales in the near future, IRNA reported.
One of the ways to confront water shortage crisis is to use novel technologies.
The above-mentioned technology has in the recent years shown popularity in the world.
