Iran’s deputy FM meets Russian envoy for Syria
EghtesadOnline: Iranian deputy foreign minister for Arab and African affairs Hossein Jaberi Ansari has discussed the latest developments in Syria with Russian President Vladimir Putin’s special envoy for Syrian affairs, Alexander Lavrentiev.
During the meeting in Tehran, the two sides discussed the agenda of the seventh round of Astana talks which is slated to be held in the Kazakh capital soon, ISNA reported.
The two senior negotiators also discussed the latest developments in the de-escalation zones and new proposals for the establishment of lasting peace in Syria.
