Iran-Pakistan trade exchange put at $230m

EghtesadOnline: The head of joint Iran-Pakistan Chamber of Commerce on Saturday put the annual trade exchanges between the two countries at $230 million.

Mohammad Vali made the remarks during a meeting with the board of directors of Mashad Chamber of Guilds. 

According to IRNA, he said $186 million of the above-mentioned figure are the Iranian exports, with the remaining $44 million being Pakistan's exports to Iran. 

Iran's exports to Pakistan include $58 million of mineral fuels and oil, $21 million of iron and steel, $13 million unprocessed animal hide and $9 million of electronic equipment, the official said. 

He also said that the Pakistani exports to Iran include $23 million of paper, $5 million of cereals, $5 million of meat, $1 million of machinery, $1 million of plastic material and $1 million of sugar.
