Non-Oil Trade With Austria Surpasses 19%
EghtesadOnline: Iran traded $364.34 million worth of non-oil goods with Austria in the last Iranian year (ended March 20, 2018), registering an increase of 19.2% compared with the year before.
This made the European country Iran’s 30th biggest trading partner.
As per the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration’s data, Iran exported 6,617 tons of commodities worth $28.28 million to Austria last year, posting a 166.46% and 155.66% growth in tonnage and value respectively year-on-year.
The exports mainly included serum, blood derivatives, apple juice and molybdenum oxides and hydroxide, according to Financial Tribune.
Austria exported 216,658 tons of goods worth $336.06 million to Iran during the period under review, up 41.05% and 14.07% in tonnage and value respectively YOY.
Iran mainly imported oilcake, rails and field corn from Austria last year.
