Iran's Non-Oil Trade Volume With Germany Grows 48 Percent

EghtesadOnline: Iran traded 326,942 tons of non-oil commodities worth $846.90 million with Germany during the first four months of the current fiscal year (March 21-July 22).

This indicates a 48.33% increase in tonnage and a 11.62% decrease in value compared with last year’s corresponding period, latest data released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration show. Iran’s exports to Germany stood at 53,198 tons worth $94.18 million, up 275.32% and 0.63% in tonnage and value respectively year-on-year.  Germany was Iran’s 20th export destination during the period. Iran mainly exported urea, offal, polystyrene and flooring to Germany during the four-month period. Germany exported 273,743 tons of goods worth $752.72 million to Iran, up 32.73% in tonnage and down 12.94% in value YOY. Germany was the fifth major exporter of goods to Iran over the four months. The imports mainly included barley, vehicles and coal electrodes, according to Financial Tribune.
