Iran's Non-Oil Trade With Mexico Declines

EghtesadOnline: Iran traded 3,158 tons of non-oil commodities worth $5.86 million with Mexico in the last fiscal year that ended on March 20, 2019, registering a 97.97% and 83.84% decline in tonnage and value respectively compared with the year before, latest data released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration show.

Iran’s exports to Mexico stood at 2,907 tons worth $4.72, down 98.12% and 86.35% in tonnage and value respectively year-on-year. 

Mexico was Iran’s 80th export destination during the year.

Iran mainly exported textile products, floorings, pistachios and alabaster to Mexico during the 12-month period, according to Financial Tribune.

The country exported 251 tons of goods worth $1.13 million to Iran, up 33.82% in volume and down 30.67% in value YOY. 

Mexico was the 99th exporter of goods to Iran during the period.

The imports included vaccines, chemicals and computer devices.
