Markazi Exports Earn Over $610m Since March 20
EghtesadOnline: A total of $619 million worth of goods have been exported from Markazi Province since the beginning of the current Iranian year (March 20).
According to Jafar Asghari, a provincial official, the exports mainly included aluminum ingot, mineral water, chemicals, different types of glass, polyester fibers, rebar, flowers, ornamental plants, polyethylene and dairy products.
Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Turkey were the main destinations, IRNA reported
More than $284 million worth of goods were imported to the province during the same period, which mostly included raw materials and production line machinery and equipment.
There are close to 3,000 industrial and production units in Markazi Province in central Iran, around 250 of which export their products.
