Ali Pakdaman finished runner-up in world competitions
Ali Pakdaman from Iran claimed a silver medal in the Georgia world fencing competitions after being defeated against the number two in world rankings in the final on Saturday.
EghtesadOnline: Pakdaman lost to sabre fencer Áron Szilágyi of Hungaria in the final 7-15 on Saturday.
This was Iran's first silver medal in fencing at this high level of the fencing competition.
