“As announced several times, missile capabilities of our country are merely in line with legitimate defense plans of the Islamic Republic of Iran and have not been designed for carrying nuclear warheads at all,” said Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qassemi.
He reiterated that Iranian missile program has nothing to do with the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and nuclear talks, and as it has been reiterated several times it is not violating Resolution 2231.
