“Making decision about the future of Syria is up to them. Meddling in Syrian issue should be based on the view of the country’s legitimate government, not based on view of countries like Saudi Arabia and the US, illegally interfering in Syrian domestic issues,” he said in a meeting with Cuban President Specal Envoy Ricardo Cabrisas here in Tehran.
“The five-year resistance of Syrian government showed that he gains public support. There has been no change in view of Iranian nation and government about Syrian nation and government, and we still support the legitimate government of Mr. Assad.”
Velayati and Ricardo Cabrisas also stressed boosting bilateral ties in health, agriculture, transportation and tourism, according to ISNA.
