Iran to hold first int’l oil tender based on new IPC

EghtesadOnline: Managing Director of National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) Ali Kardor said that the first international oil tender based on new Iran’s Petroleum Contract (IPC) would be held mid October.

“South Azadegan Field will be the Iran’s first field taking part in the international tender scheduled October 15-21,” he said.

He said expanding Makran coasts is one of strategic plans of Iran. A refinery with 300.000 barrels capacity and transfer lines would be established in this district soon, according to ISNA.

He said that the final model of the new IPC would be approved this week after coordination with the parliament and the model should be regarded as finalized from now on.
