Iran's oil exports to Japan up in 3 consecutive months

EghtesadOnline: Iranian Oil Ministry announced that Iran's oil exports to Japan had been increasing in three consecutive months and reached 257,000 barrels per day (bpd) in July.

The figure indicates 62 percent increase compared to the same period the previous year, reports IRNA.

The latest figures also indicate that Iran's main oil customers in East Asian have been China, South Korea, and Japan and that the average of their imports has been 1.64 million barrels per day, a figure which is on the rise. 

Since the beginning of 2016, Japan's crude imports from Iran has reached 213,000 bpd, showing 42,000 bpd increase compared to the same period the previous year.

Meanwhile, Japan's crude imports from Saudi Arabia have reached 1.61 million bpd in July, indicating 70,000 bpd decrease in comparison with the previous year.
