According to ISNA, the terrorists aimed to have terrorist operations during Qadr nights (late fasting month of Ramadan) and Quds Day (the last Friday of Ramadan).
He said that Iranian security forces managed to identify elements, mediators, and agents linked to the group after confession of the arrested terrorists.
Alavi reiterated that Iranian security forces would arrest the elements and agents in due time, and would not allow even the least damage to security of the country and the people.
He said that a group who had an extensive plan for explosion and counter-security measures in Iran was dismantled by the country’s security forces in Ramadan.
He continued members of the groups arrested or dismantled by Iranian security forces so far have been mostly linked to the terrorist ISIL.
