Adviser to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz held meetings with the Foreign Ministers of Norway, New Zealand, France, Hungary, Malta and the State Minister for Defence and Foreign Affairs of Singapore on the sidelines of 11th ASEM Summit being held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia on Pakistan-India relations with special reference to recent events in Indian Kashmir, IRNA reports.
Meanwhile the adviser has written a letter to the UN Secretary-General, the President of the UN Security Council, the Secretary-General of the OIC, and the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights to express serious concern over the situation in the Indian Kashmir.
Pakistan says it wants implementation of all UN Security Council resolutions on Kashmir.
Earlier the Ambassadors of African and Middle Eastern countries were briefed in the Foreign Office over the situation in Indian Kashmir.
Two days back Pakistan Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry briefed ambassadors of the member countries of OIC Contact Group on Kashmir, ambassadors of the European Union and ambassadors of the Permanent Members of the Security Council (P-5) on Kashmir issue.
Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has announced that his country will observe July 19 as black day to express solidarity with the people of Indian Kashmir as another diplomatic measure against India.
