Tour operators advised to wait for notice to send tourists to Turkey
EghtesadOnline: Iran Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization on Saturday advised Iranian tour operators to refrain from sending tourists to Turkey until further notice.
The advice was issued amid insecurity across Turkey which followed early Saturday failed coup attempt, IRNA reports.
ICHHTO called on the tour operators to suspend Turkey visits until peace and security is restored in the country.
Meanwhile, Iran Cultural Herritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization held negotiations with the Foreign Ministry and Iran's Civil Aviation Organization for safe and gradual return of the Iranian tourists who stay in Turkey because of suspension of international flights from the Turkish airports today.
