Iran, Austria paraph draft MoU on Transport cooperation

EghtesadOnline: Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development Asghar Fakhriyeh Kashan said on Tuesday that draft memorandum of understanding (MoU) on transport cooperation with Austria was paraphed.

He made the remarks at the end of first joint commission on transport between Iran and Austria.

According to IRNA, Kashan said that the MoU was finalized and paraphed, then after necessary measures will be signed by the two countries transport ministers.

Considering Austria know-how in the field of transport, Iran will hold several training courses to benefit from the Austrian knowledge, he said.

The deputy minister said that the two sides predicted to establish joint technical-engineering companies to enhance level of trade to one billion euros a year as the two presidents had already agreed.

Currently trade between Iran and Austria stood around 220 million euros.
