Iran, Iraq willing to develop legislative-judicial relations

EghtesadOnline: Iranian Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani said Iran, Iraq legislative-judicial relations can contribute to the development of mutual political ties.

Ayatollah Larijani who left Tehran to Iraq Saturday, held meeting with Iraqi counterpart as well as the judicial high-ranking officials.

According to ISNA, Iranian top official stated that Iran, Iraq legislative-judicial ties can lead to better political relations in future, adding Iran fully supports Iraqi nation and government against terrorism.

He referred to terrorist acts all across the world and said the definition of terrorism for the western countries differs from the rest, noting for Iraq and other regional states the meaning of terrorism is crystal clear.

The Judiciary Chief expressed hope that Iraq can win victory against terrorism, stating that the two countries can boost mutual ties in different sectors.

Sadeq Larijani, more known as Amoli Larijani, is an Iranian cleric, politician and the current and fifth head of the judicial system of Iran after the 1979 revolution.
