President Appreciates Iraqi Top Cleric’s Support for Iran

Masoud Pezeshkian expressed appreciation for the wise positions and unwavering support of Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani toward Iran and those affected by the recent aggression.

In a message posted in Arabic on his X account on Monday, the president thanked Grand Ayatollah Sistani for his prudent stance and steadfast support for the Islamic Republic of Iran and for the victims of the recent aggression by the United States and the Israeli regime.

Pezeshkian also praised the sympathy, solidarity, and support shown by the brotherly people of Iraq toward the people of Iran, according to the website of the president’s office.
