Iran’s exports hit 50 mln tons in 5 months

EghtesadOnline: Iran’s exports and imports over the first five months of the current Iranian calendar year (started on March 20, 2016) respectively hit 50 million and 13 million tons, Iran’s Customs Organization said.

Iran’s exports (regardless of crude, mazut and kerosene) hit 50 million tons, worth $19.108 billion, rising by 25 percent in terms of weight and 22.10 percent in terms of value.

Iran’s imports has decreased by 6.39 percent in terms of weight and 2.85 percent in terms of value, hitting 13 million tons and $16 billion, the data of the customs showed.

According to ISNA, Iran’s exports mainly included gas condensations, liquefied natural gases, petroleum gases and liquefied hydrocarbons, light oils and products except gas and liquefied propane.

China, the UAE, Iraq, Turkey and South Korea have been main clients for Iran’s exports.
