Rouhani requires parties to JCPOA to restore banking ties with Iran

EghtesadOnline: President Hassan Rouhani said on Monday that Iran decided to boost tourism industry, requiring the parties to Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action to restore banking ties with Iran.
Rouhani made the remarks in a ceremony to mark the World Tourism Day on September 27 in Tehran, reports IRNA.
In talks with world leaders various issues were discussed such as expansion of banking cooperation and promotion of investment opportunities, President Rouhani said.
They said that in today's world priority was not given to commerce but other issues such as technology, occupation and investment are of prime importance, he said.
In tourism industry, attention should be paid to expansion and development of roads, railways and aviation industry, he said.
The government is to pay no efforts to renovate air fleet in order to attract more tourists, Rouhani said.
Tourists should feel more secure and pay fewer expenses while touring the Islamic Republic of Iran, President Rouhani said.
Tourism has two aspects named as cultural and pilgrimage and both should be taken into account, he said.
The country's foreign policy system and the way they interact with the world countries are among essentials to attract foreign tourists, he said.
A bad political situation will leave negative impact on tourism industry, he said adding that the 11th government could successfully overcome Iranophobia and this should be regarded as one of the pride of the government to successfully deal with the issue and depict a good image of Iran to world nations.
One of the significant impacts of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) was to fight with Iranophobia during which the world public opinion found out that the propaganda on Iran's peaceful nuclear power and the country's defense capabilities are totally baseless, he said.
After 12 to 13 years of spot inspection from Iran's nuclear facilities and installations, they have admitted the peaceful nature of Iran's nuclear program and that the military dimension of the nuclear program been completely closed, President Rouhani said.
