Iran President sets up committee to ratify Iran’s oil deals

Headed by Mohammad Forouzandeh, the committee will monitor the compliance of new oil deals proposed by the Oil Ministry with the regulations instated by the country’s cabinet, according to ILNA.

The report did not mention the current position of Forouzandeh, though he may be the one who is a member of the Expediency Council, advisor to President Rouhani, a former head of the Mostazafin (oppressed) Foundation, as well as once defense minister.
