Iran, Russia diplomats review President Rouhani’s upcoming visit to Moscow

EghtesadOnline: Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Asia-Pacific Affairs Ebrahim Rahimpour and his Russian counterpart Igor Margulov discussed the upcoming visit to Moscow by President Hassan Rouhani in a meeting on Thursday evening.
The meeting was also attended by Iran's Ambassador to Moscow Mehdi Sanaei.
According to IRNA, Rahimpour and Margulov discussed ways for bolstering and refreshing bilateral ties.
The Kremlin said on Thursday that President Rouhani will make an official visit to Russia on March 27–28 upon an invitation by his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
At their meeting on March 28, the two presidents will examine the full spectrum of bilateral cooperation, with particular focus on expanding trade, economic and investment ties, including in the context of carrying out big joint energy and transport infrastructure projects.
Putin and Rouhani will also continue their exchange of views on current issues on the international and regional agendas.
A number of bilateral documents are expected to be signed following the talks.
