More than $ 43bn goods exported from Customs Office last year

EghtesadOnline: Director General for Export Department of Customs Office Ali Akbar Shamani said on Monday that total amount of exporting goods from Iran’s customs office last year (1395) was $43.93 billion.

Shamani said the figure shows 3.5 percent growth as compared with the year before, IRNA reported.

He also reminded that in year 1395 registered imports from customs office was $43.674 billion, which had a growth of 5.16 percent as compared to the year before.

Shamani said that Customs Office income in the year 1395 was 333,000 billion rials, which had 61 percent increase in comparison with the preceding year.

The official said that the issue of digitalizing administrative procedures was fulfilled last year.

Considering Supreme Leader order concerning exporting goods, Shamani said that the Customs Office is doing its utmost to facilitate customs affairs.
