Pistachio Exports Up 20%

EghtesadOnline: Close to 141,500 tons of pistachio were exported over the last Iranian year (March 2016-17), registering a 20% increase compared with the year before, figures released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration and Iran Pistachio Association show.

The main export destinations for Iranian pistachio over the period were Serbia, Latvia, Jordan, Spain, Australia, Slovakia, Afghanistan, the UAE, Algeria, Ukraine, Italy, Azerbaijan, Germany, Bahrain, Bulgaria, Belgium, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Thailand, Taiwan, Turkey, Tunisia, South Korea, China, Switzerland, Iraq, Oman, Russia, France, Kyrgyzstan, Qatar, Canada, Kuwait, Lebanon, Poland, Lithuania, Malaysia, Egypt, Mexico, Vietnam, India, Hong Kong and Greece, according to Financial Tribune.
