Insurance Firms Owe $1b to Pharma
EghtesadOnline: The outstanding debts owed to pharmaceutical companies by insurance firms have tipped this sector into recession, the chairman of Majlis Health Commission said.
Noting that insurance firms owe as much as 40 trillion rials ($1.02 billion) to pharmaceutical companies, ILNA quoted Ali Nobakht Haqiqi as saying that the Planning and Budget Organization of Iran has promised to allocate a fraction of this amount to the industry.
