Non-Oil Trade With Spain Tops $620m
EghtesadOnline: Iran traded $625.30 million worth of non-oil goods with Spain in the last Iranian year (ended March 20, 2018), marking a 5.36% rise compared to the year before, making the European nation Iran’s 26th biggest trading partner.
As per the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration’s data, Iran exported 141,533 tons of commodities worth $182.78 million to Spain last year, posting a 33.02% and 25.11% decline in tonnage and value respectively year-on-year.
Exports mainly included marble, travertine, alabaster and saffron.
Spain exported 421,233 tons of goods worth $442.52 million to Iran during the period, up 70.41% and 26.64% in tonnage and value respectively YOY, according to Financial Tribune.
Iran mainly imported carbon electrode, tunnel boring machine and barley from Spain last year.
