EghtesadOnline: The joint venture company between France’s Citroen and Iran’s SAIPA delivered the first Citroen C3s made in the central city of Kashan to customers earlier this week in Tehran.

EghtesadOnline: Through a joint venture with Iranian carmaker SAIPA, French automotive giant Citroen presold 2,000 units of its small city hatchback C3 in its initial offering in the country on May 16.

EghtesadOnline: SAIPA started a test assembly of the Citroen C3 over the weekend.

EghtesadOnline: SAIPA has taken the covers off its joint venture with Citroen, announcing that the first car to roll off the production line will be the Citroen C3 hatchback.

EghtesadOnline: Speaking at the ceremony Fariborz Shahbaz, SAIPA Citroen’s director said, “The production lines are being installed and will be launched before September 2018. Initially 20% of parts used in the cars will be locally manufactured.”

EghtesadOnline: The general manager of SAIPA Industrial Group announced that the first car produced jointly by this group and France, Citroën C3 , will be offered by the end of the year (ended March 20, 2018).
