Iran, S. Korea open center to exchange hi-tech

EghtesadOnline: Iran and South Korea inaugurated a center to exchange technology named IKTEC.

Iranian Deputy Minister of Industry, Trade and Mine Ali Yazdani was also present in the ceremony, reports ISNA.

“One of the agreements which will officially be implemented is opening IKTEC which aims to develop bilateral cooperation between small and medium-sized industries of the two sides,” he said in the ceremony.

He expressed the hope that Iran and South Korea would continue cooperation in five fields, including education, supporting marketing and exports, supporting staff training, transfer of knowhow and contacts among Iranian and South Korean businesses through the center.

Yazdani noted that the level of bilateral trade exchanges between the two countries hit $5 billion and the amount has been set to reach $25 billion in next 10 years.
