Iran, Tajikistan steadfast to foster cooperation
EghtesadOnline: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Iran and Tajikistan aiming to improve trade ties between the two countries.
Iranian Energy Minister Hamid Chitchian met with his Tajik counterpart and inked an agreement on expanding ties in different sectors of economy, commerce, technology, culture and science, ISNA reported.
Both sides stressed the significance of holding various committees to follow up the accord and get informed of the latest developments in both countries.
Chitchian said in the meeting that Iran is willing to boost cooperation with Tajikistan in different areas including oil, gas, electricity and water resources, adding the MoU signed include different article that both sides agreed upon.
Iranian official expressed hope that both sides could apply effective measure for mutual progress in all fields.
