EghtesadOnline: President Donald Trump’s longtime personal aide, Keith Schiller, plans to leave the White House at the end of September for a better paying job, said a person familiar with his decision.

Schiller, a former Trump bodyguard who is now director of Oval Office operations, was the aide the president sent to FBI headquarters to deliver the letter firing director James Comey. Comey was speaking to field agents in Los Angeles at the time.

According to Bloomberg, Trump also dispatched Schiller last month to inform a long-time advance logistics aide and former director of White House advance, George Gigicos, that he would never manage another Trump rally again after the president was dissatisfied with an Aug. 22 Phoenix rally, according to three people familiar with the matter.

Schiller is paid a $165,000 annual salary for his position on the White House staff. He earned $294,000 the prior year in payments from the Trump Organization, the Trump presidential campaign, and his private security firm, KS Global Group LLC, according to his financial disclosure.

Schiller is pursuing a new job with a higher salary than his White House post, said the person familiar with his decision.

A former New York City police detective, Schiller began doing part-time bodyguard work for Trump in 1999 and later left the police force to work for Trump full time.
