EghtesadOnline: Iran exported a total of $902 million worth of goods to Iraq through Mehran Border Crossing in the first nine months of the current fiscal year (started March 21).

“The products consisted of construction materials, steel, agricultural and plastic commodities, cars, car parts and petrochemicals,” deputy head of Ilam Industries, Mining and Trade Organization, Jamil Shohani, told IRNA on Monday.

Mehran is the capital city of the namesake county in the western Ilam Province.

Cement and agricultural materials made up the biggest portion of Iran’s exports, Financial Tribune reported.

“Last year, products worth $2.3 billion were exported through Mehran border,” Shohani added.
