Amir Abdollahian underlined Iran’s strong support for the Syrian people and government, and congratulated the Syrian army’s recent victories in the war against the terrorist groups, according to IRNA.
“Tehran will strongly continue its supports for the people, government and legal president of Syria Bashar Assad,” he said.
Amir Abdollahian pointed to the defeats of the terrorists and their withdrawal from many regions in Syrian and Damascus countryside, and said, “The Syrian army and popular forces have an important share in collapse and destruction of terrorists.”
“Tehran’s support for Syria will continue with high voice and until the complete defeat of the terrorists,” he added.
