Manager of the Public Relations Department of the Geological Survey of Iran (GSI) for International Affairs Hanieh Bakhshaei made the announcement, saying the meeting will be held with the participation of experts from ECO member states.
Sharing new ideas and views on solving the problems of geological hazards with a special emphasis on the phenomenon of subsidence and earthquakes in the region are among the most important goals of the meeting, she mentioned.
The third meeting of experts of ECO’s member states was held in Turkey in 2021, Bakhshaei said, adding, “After the Geological Survey Organization of Iran joined the Committee on Human Resources and Sustainable Development of the ECO, the organization undertook to host the 4th meeting.” / Tasnim
