EghtesadOnline: Director General of Iran's Red Crescent Society Ali Asqar Ahmadi said on Friday that extreme burn of the martyrs is a big hurdle on identifying them.

Speaking to IRNA, he said according to the latest reports some 80 people have attained martyrdom but due to extreme burn it is seems a very tough job to identify martyrs.

Some 30 Iranian nationals are among the injured people who are hospitalized in two Iraqi hospitals, he said.

A truck bomb went off in the Shoumeli village, 120 kilometers southeast of Baghdad, targeting vehicles loaded with passengers most of them Iranians who were returning home from the holy shrines in Iraq after Arba'een rituals.

Reports so far put the number of the dead at more than 71 with a lot more injured.
