Iranian Deputy Trade Minister and head of the IMIDRO Mehdi Karbasian said on Sunday that the projects will be completed with an investment of $7.2b, FNA reports.
Addressing a mining conference in Tehran, the official said IMIDRO successfully carried out 14 projects remaining from the previous administration with an investment of $1.3b.
"Furthermore, IMIDRO is working on 16 projects which it adopted over the past 2.5 years (since the beginning of the Rouhani administration)," he added.
Karbasian said an investment of $50b is needed for obtaining the 8% economic growth that has been envisaged by the 6th five-year development plan.
