Japan, new rival for Boeing, Airbus on selling plane to Iran

EghtesadOnline: While for now the fate of the purchase contracts of Boeing and Airbus aircraft by the Iranian company Iran Air is not determined and lengthy negotiations with them continue, these two giants should confront a Japanese airline to Iran.

The Japanese company Mitsubishi is preparing to enter the market of Iran Air with the offer of regional passenger jets, reports ISNA.

Other companies like Embraer of Brazil and Bombardier of Canada also tried their luck in this promising market of Iran in recent years.

According to the Iranian deputy minister of road and urban development, Iran intends to buy Japanese regional jet, the MRJ.

This aircraft was unveiled in 2015 after years of testing and analysis, has the capacity to ship 75 to 90 passengers.
