Iran signs seven confidentiality contracts with int'l oil companies

EghtesadOnline: Deputy Petroleum Minister Ali Kardor said on Tuesday that the ministry have signed seven 'confidentiality' contracts with international oil companies to carry out exploration about the oil fields.

Kardor told a press conference that that the companies will present outcome of their studies on the fields to the Petroleum Ministry, so that it would not create any privilege for them to undertake the development projects, according to IRNA.

he said that the confidentiality contract the NIOC concerns the consultant services of the companies.

He said that the Ministry has signed confidentiality contracts Total SA of France, Indonesian Pertamina, Russian Lukoil, Russian Zarubezhneft, Austrian OMV and German Wintershall.
