Veep: Takfiri groups trying to destabilize Iran

EghtesadOnline: Takfiri terrorist groups including Daesh (ISIS) are doing their best to destabilize Iran, Iranian First Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri said.

Speaking in a local ceremony in the northwestern province of East Azarbaijan on Tuesday, first vice president said Iran is located in an insecure region and various Takfiri groups including Daesh are trying to destabilize the country.

According to IRNA, Jahangiri praised Iran’s security and stability thanks to efforts and sacrifices of security and military forces.

The world has admitted that it needs Iran’s help to establish peace in the region, he noted.

Jahangiri said that if Iran had not stood against Daesh, this terrorist group would have dominated over several capitals of Islamic countries.

Referring to the problems on the way of execution of Joint Comprehensive Plan Of Action, he said that Tehran would pursue implementation of nuclear deal reached between Iran and G5+1.

Iran’s oil export doubled in the post-sanctions era, the official added.

He underlined that non-oil exports should increase to 50 billion dollars during this Iranian calendar year (started March 20, 2016) from the current 40 billion dollars.
