Iran's oil export reported record high on Tuesday

EghtesadOnline: Managing Director of Iran Oil Terminals Company (IOTC) Pirouz Mousavi said on Tuesday that Iran broke the record of crude export as 10 tankers concurrently loaded about 9,200,000 bpd crude oil in Kharg Island on Tuesday.

Mousavi said the bulk of loading is a record high of Iranian crude exports.

Mousavi said that jetties of Kharg oil terminal, which is the biggest oil terminal of Iran in the Persian Gulf, was the scene of berthing of nine giant tankers and a ship in the ship-to-ship method as well as loading of Iranian crude, according to IRNA.

He said the berthing operation was without presence of foreign partners.

The official said that through the ships berthed in fixed jetties of Kharg oil terminal, about 8,200,000 barrels of oil were loaded.

He added that furthermore, one million barrels of crude were loaded in the form of ship-to-ship.
