Iran gasoline reserves exceed 1bn liters

EghtesadOnline: Iranian gasoline reserves exceeded 1.4 billion liters, Deputy Head of National Iranian Oil Products Distribution and Refining Company Shahrokh Khosravani said on Saturday.

Khosravani said the volume of Iran's gasoline reserves has risen from 600 million liters in the Iranian year of 1393 (2014-15), according to IRNA.

Elaborating on the NIOPDRC achievements during the government of President Hasssan Rouhani, Khosravani said Iran's gasoline reserves stood at about 600 million liters last year and that the reserves currently increased by 800 million liters to 1.4 billion liters.

On gasoline imports this year, he said that in the last 160 days, 12 million liters of gasoline were imported and the imported gasoline has been stored in inventories and pipelines.

He noted that Iran's average gasoline imports will stand at six to seven million liters a day in the second half of this Iranian calendar year.
