Rouhani: Implementing Tehran-Paris deals develops bilateral ties

EghtesadOnline: Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said that close and quick implementation of agreements between Tehran and Paris would create a concrete development in their bilateral relationship in political, economic and scientific spheres.

Rouhani in a meeting with President of French National Assembly Claude Bartolone here in Tehran, referred to dozens of documents signed between Iran and France during his visit to Paris after the nuclear agreement, and said, “We are witnessing progress in implementing some of the agreements and their complete implementation could create a development in Tehran-Paris relationship.”

َAccording to ISNA, he also stressed boosting bilateral parliamentary relations between Iran and France.

Rouhani continued that the goal of the Islamic Republic of Iran during long and important negotiation with P5+1 was to prove it was right in peaceful nuclear program, and it wanted to show its will for constructive interaction with the world.

He said Iran has abided by its commitments on JCPOA and stressed implementing the nuclear deal closely and quickly by all sides.

Rouhani then referred to the issue of terrorism, and said expanding bilateral cooperation and consultation between the two countries could help settlement of regional issues.

Bartolone, for his part, said French National Assembly has always supported the nuclear deal, and “Today, we are seriously after complete implementation of the JCPOA by all sides.”

He said that the assembly supports efforts of large French banks for cooperation and investment in Iran.

He said that the JCPOA is a win-win condition for the two sides, and said Iran is an important element of stability and security in the Middle East.
